Hey There

Growing up as a child, watching my mother cook for us was always a treat. It was like watching a magician go to work, the way she used the simplest of ingredients and transformed them into the tastiest dishes I have ever had. It was  unfathomable to me how everything she prepared turned out so perfect. It was as if she had the Midas touch. Only years later did I realise the secret to my mother’s food - her passion to make people happy, and the desire to see them relish her food. When she cooked, she poured her heart and soul into the entire process, laden with every ounce of love she had which always promised a hearty, satisfying meal to all those who indulged.
 

Inspired by her, years later, I unwittingly found myself developing a passion for food; striving to cook the best meals using the freshest produce with home-made spices, and of course putting in my whole heart and soul to cook for my children, family and friends, just as my mother once did.  
I began experimenting with new cooking techniques, researching the finesse of famous chefs, and infusing new combinations of spices to enhance my food and bring out the best version of the “chef” in me. 
Looking back, I recall there was this life-altering moment in my journey - the day I decided to take the advice of my children and some friends who encouraged me to pursue my passion and start my own catering business. The idea clicked, and I decided instantly this is what I was destined to do. Food was the best way to reach peoples heart and Catering would help me bring joy to others while also allowing me to follow my dream and do what I love most. My mother always said  “Do your best to always spread love”, and I undoubtedly believe that I will be able to express this through my food.
 

'Mother’s Touch' is dedicated to my beloved mother for the wonderful food she created, for the love and passion she put into making each and every dish, and for imbibing in me a deep appreciation for good food.
Embarking on this endeavor, I am extremely happy to carry on the legacy of my mother's amazing food and her culinary expertise, and promise to spread happiness to all who enjoy great food with that extra magic of a mother's touch.
